Meet Naeemah

Hello! I’m Naeemah Ricketts, a multifaceted professional with a passion for service, leadership, and continuous growth. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, I cultivated a strong foundation in discipline and teamwork as a Division I basketball player at Iona College, where I earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Dual Education and Special Education. After residing in New York for a decade, I relocated to Atlanta, GA, in 2015. I served as an Assistant Principal at a public charter school in Atlanta for 9 years, following over 14 years of experience in education as an athletics coach, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator. My work has always been driven by a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and holistic development in urban communities.

In 2016, I embraced my faith as a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, which has since guided my endeavors in mentoring young ladies and serving others through various ministries. My heart for service extends into the nonprofit space, where I proudly serve as a founding board member for three organizations: Board Secretary for Queen Academy, Inc. and The Christian Business Women’s Network International, and Board Treasurer for Shiloh Christian Academy. My time on these boards has given me valuable insight into the unique needs and challenges of nonprofit startups. This experience has deepened my desire to support mission-driven organizations using my skills in administrative support and systems development. As the founder of a virtual assistant business, I specialize in helping nonprofit leaders and small business owners streamline operations, stay organized, and focus on impact.

My entrepreneurial journey also includes ventures in real estate investing, asset recovery, and travel planning. As a travel advisor, I curate unforgettable experiences including cruises and stays at all-inclusive resorts across the Caribbean, Mexico, and a variety of destinations throughout the United States. Whether it’s a romantic getaway, group trip, or family vacation, I ensure each journey is personalized and aligned with my clients’ unique desires. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in reading edifying books, connecting with new people, and traveling.
